knowledge and experience to Storm Front. He is a member of the band "Cryin Out Loud"
and is also involved with several other popular bands here in the Capital District.
Mike has many musical influences, but Billy Joel has always been his biggest.
When approached by Storm Front's sax player, Adam York to front the band,Mike Jumped at the opportunity!
He has always included Joel's music in any band he was in and is now excited to perform some of his
songs that you wouldn't normally hear in a regular cover band. Aside from playing in rock bands,
he also enjoys acting and has landed many lead roles in shows such as:
"Hello Dolly","Guys n Dolls","Annie Get Your Gun" and "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying".
When not on stage,he enjoys taking trips down to Boston to catch some Sox games,
playing as much poker as possible and spending time with his family.

While studying sax, Adam also pursued piano, taking lessons from renowned
jazz pianist Lee Shaw. Adam has spent a lot of time on and off the stage,
performing as a pit musician, production manager, composer, session player,
and as an actor/model.

Chris Baird
Guitar, Mandolin, Keyboard, Vocals

Chris Baird, of Queensbury, New York, has been rigorously working on his musicianship since first picking up guitar at Christmas, in the year 2000. Having never taken singing lessons before, during his senior year of high school, Chris got the part of Li'l Abner in Queensbury High School's 2002 Production of "Li'l Abner". Having fallen in love with both playing guitar and singing, his entire life since then has revolved heavily around music.

Since then, he's attended college for music, performed all over New York including New York City, has been involved with several bands most notably the 3 year run of the Chris Baird Band, played in the pit for two musicals, recorded an album of original music, "Free Nights & Weekends" with world-famous drummer Kenwood Dennard (Who has performed with Dave Matthews, Sting, Aretha Franklin, Miles Davis, Jaco Pastorius and MANY more!), and has been teaching guitar for the past 3 years averaging 37 students weekly.

Chris is truly thankful for the opportunity to play in Storm Front. Years before even thinking about playing an instrument he'd fall asleep at age 8 to a badly worn-out cassette tape of "Billy Joel's Greatest Hits Vol. 1 & 2" Now he has the privilege of performing one of his greatest inspiration's music with some of the most talented and intriguing musicians in the country. "I'm fortunate that I'm able to live the life I've dreamed of living for so long." Enjoy the show!

seemed like second nature ... and to do so surrounded by some of the

makes for an amazing live experience!
